How to change my forum timezone?

First of all, there's 2 different timezones on your forum:
- The forum's Timezone
- Your personal Timezone

Forum Timezone

This is the timezone set by default in members profiles. It's also the timezone used when non registered users see the forum

Admin panel => General Admin => Configuration => Configuration

Then, you can change your forum's default timezone to set your country/area timezone. Then, members who will register after this change will have this new timezone.




Personal Timezone
(Forum administrators often forget this)

When you are logged in, click on "Profile" on the top of your forum


Click on "Preferences", just above the frame, at the right hand side of the page.


Go down and stop just before the Send button and choose the timezone according to your contry/area

For France
Summer time : GMT + 2
Winter time : GMT + 1


For Quebec
Summer time : GMT - 4
Winter time : GMT - 5

For Gouadaloupe (Caribbean Islands)
GMT - 4 (no summer time)

Algeria
GMT + 1 (no summer time)


These timezones are the most frequent on forumotions. If you are not living in Quebec or France and you want to submit your area timezone, please PM me for that. When you submit, tell me if the Saving Daylight Time is applicated in your area. I will then edit this post to add your area timezone.
