Ban problem

I banned one member of my forum. Then he opened new free email adress and he registered again on my forum with new username. How to solve this problem? Can I ban someone using his IP adress? PLEASE HELP!

Yes you can. Go to a post that the member made and look in the upper right corner of the post where you will see a button "IP"(it depends on the theme you have) next to the quote,edit and delete buttons.
That way you can find the IP address of that member. Now go to admin panel=>Users & Groups=>Users=>Ban control and in the "Ban one or more IP addresses or hostnames" section add the IP address of that member.
