Chatbox not for all the members

Hi, I have a forum with some groups and I would like to not be able to read the chatbox for some groups, how can I do it?

Well of course you can let some members not view the chatbox; ban them from the chatbox

I can do that with a user that isn't on the chatbox? That will make him not able to access later? So he can't read the archive?

I've read about banned members that after that there is no way to unban them on future, either from administration panel.

And what about the other questions, I needto be sure about the privacy of the info talked there. At least at a short term. On large term, members can be unbaned, info would not be important then.

bying doing /cls it will clear the archives and the current posts, making everything safe.

As long as they have a username they can be banned from the chatbox at anytime, they will not be able to see the CB if they are banned, he wont be able to read anything

OK, now I assigned myself as moderator from the chatbox, but there is a bug that administraiton panel doesn't show the chatbox moderator list (well it's empty)

Add the user in the admin panel sometimes it doesn't show when you add them via the chatbox.

As the person doesnt have the @ by his name

He is not moderator of the CB and needs to be added either by
/mod USERNAME
or
via acp

I explained bad, I went to administrator panel, I assigned from there as chatbox moderator, but bottom I wasn't on the list.
I assigned myself again but I received a message saying I already was moderator. I checked n the chatbox (where I had the @) and I become able to use /cls.

But on administrator panel the moderators of the chatbox list stills empty.

You can install a chat box on a hidden forum for your groups as I have done. You will need to get a different chat server however. I use Xat. And I made hidden forums for different groups. Inside each I made a topic and put the Xat chat in that topic. So that each group has there own private chat, and it does not hold memory so no one will be able to see the info talked about if it happens to be stumbled upon.

Wow, good idea, I didn't imagine that could be done.

Now things have changed so I don't need it, but it may be useful for the future.
