Forced Read

Is there a way to do a forced read. By that I mean an announcement or message that all members must read before they can continue. I do not mean new members. I mean at any time a post that must be read before members can get to the forum. I can do this using vbulletin, but wondered if forumotion has the option to do this.

I would like to know if there is a way too, But I want new members to be forced to read it as well. my site has the rules ad I would like every one that just sighns up HAVE to read the rules before they can go any further! Is there a way?

That's too bad. I use my forum in my Social Studies classroom. The students love it. I would like to be able to send them messages I know they must at least look at.
