Groups Issues

I just created a group called Sandboxed (it's for those who are caught cursing or breaking forums rules.)
But I tried to put someone in there, and the color for them is aqua blue, and they still remain white as a regular member....do you know why this is?

When you enter in that group=>Color group members=>Yes=>Save.
Do you tried this?

yes, and now i have a new problem, halve of the members on my forums are banned/sandboxed...for no apparent reason...idk wat's going on..

EDIT: I fixed the problem...but the sandboxed thing still doesn't work..

Administration Panel=>Users&Groups=>Users options=>Colorize usernames=>Yes=>Save.
Do you have this option on yes?

Have you got only the users you want in the group called "sandbox" and the others not in a group?

You make a group Named 'Banned' that they can still post when in the group, if you set the permissions.

But if you ban them they will not be able to login/post

Admin panle>user and groups>groups>group administration> next to the group you will see

click that and set permissions.

i just wish that this place had a "sandbox" type of thing, where if they're in trouble, the mods had to apprve of their post before everyone could see it....oh well.
