once i bought the domain name i wanted im having problems!

hi once my free trail was up i was notified that i could buy the domain name so i did, i chose to swap the www.northernfords.forumotion.net to www.northernfords.co.uk and typed in my details. however i was told to contact forumotion and this is what they said!

You will need to contact the company who registered your
domain name for you and ask them to "Change the DNS 'A
Record' to 193.109.194.27". If they gave you a username and
password when you registered the domain name then you may be
able to do this yourself. Alternatively you can send us the
username and password and we will try to do it for you.

can some body point me in the right direction please!
