page verification with google

I have done everything that I can to get the page verification to work but I just cant figure it out. Can somebody PLEASE post some pics of the steps and where to place the meta tag or something. I am getting very frustrated with this because I normally can figure this kinda stuff out but this just has me stumped.

When you get the Meta Tag code, go to:
Admin panel >> Display ( Tab ) >> Generalities > Meta tag > "add a 'metatag' Type" > In the content box where it has the "Google-veryify-site" you add that ( Just whats inside the speech marks [thats the "] as their not considered by us, if you include them the verification will fail ! )
And in the "Conent" box add the code, once again ONLY what's in between the speach marks or the verification will fail.
Now click "add" and then "save" then when you get the white page stay there; click the verify button from your bot site and it should verify it now
