Signature Problem

A member of my forum just informed me that she could not post a signature. So I went to my controls to check, but indeed the signature option is turned on. I tried making one for myself, and although an empty space appears in my posts there is nothing there to be seen!

I would appreciate help with this ... glitch or whatever it is!

Wow. I just realized that for each member profile there was a "no" for "always show my signature." SoI enabled several members, and still the signatures don't appear!

I do not think you have to enable it for each member.

Just go to admin > users & groups > user settings

In user settings box, check "allow signatures".

I do not know *shrugs*. Text signature is working for me.

Unless you mean a graphic signature? I still have not featured out how to put in a graphics signature yet.

Ok, now it's working. It just started working on its own. Maybe just some weird glitch.

I've same problem about signature

I've logged in as admin and enable the option "allow signature". But, I still can't see the signature.

Did the signature can't see at the posts??? Or it's only for private messages only???

Try going in your profile=>Preferences and see if you have this option "Always attach my signature :" set on Yes.

yea...i did that and it WAS turned off but it still wont work

Yes, after all that mine still doesn't show either. A problem I seem to be having often during this process is whenever I attempt to make a change like that, it prompts me for to confirm that Im changing my password, which I'm not, so I click cancel and then I think the changes do not take effect. If I click confirm, it tells me the password doesn't match, even though above all that it says I do not need to re-enter my password unless I'm changing it.

When you are asked for the password, type the password you have in the "Confirm password :" field.

I'm the administrator of my board, and when I want to go change the sizwe allowed of the signature on the administrator page, I don't find the place, I tried everywhere and also my little signature don't want to appear and I tried everything that has been writed here

The maximum number of characters for the signature is 500 and it can;t be changed.To add you signature make sure you activated it from admin panel=>Users & groups=>Users=>User settings and look for this option "Allow Signatures and choose Yes.Then go to your Profile from Profile=>Preferences tab(in your nav bar) and look for this option "Always attach my signature :" and choose yes.To set your signature go to Profile=>Signature tab

iv got the same problem too.. I already check the "yes" button on my profile preferences and the user settings that says "allow signatures" and still my signature won't appear..

i do hav a signature in my profile and i can see it on the preview..

how could this be?

I made a mistake and i learned from it..

The signature won't appear on my old post (no signature activated yet)..

But it is there now on my new posts, thnx anyway!
