Banner

I requested a banner recently and had a few people kindly design on. I was just wondering how I get the banner to take up the whole of the top of the page rather than being cut horizontally across and tiled? I would send you a screen dump if I knew how.

Well, the only way it can be taking up the whole page, is to have the width of the banner the same as the top of your index page. You do not have the option for it to be stretched. You can center the banner however.

We're having trouble with our banner. We've managed to stretch it across the top but it just seems to be doing such weird things. Do people normally make their banner so it looks fine on a certain screen? Or is it possible to make it look good for all resolutions?

On my 13" screen, the banner is stretched at the corners and half of the text is off the screen. On my 17" screen, I have a white box underneath the banner. On her screen, it looks perfect. Is is possible to make it look good for all computers??
