Topic permission [solved]

Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me on this... Ive searched the forums for a topic regarding this but didnt find any... I was wondering if there is anyway to make a topic only readable by certain members? The reason I want to do this because Im designing some things regarding the Roleplay possibilities and I wanted to make a sort of update sheet for the player to visit.. where I can leave updated messages regarding the gameplay of the RPG... This kind of storymode function

Permissions can only be assigned for forums / categories, but not to single threads. Therefore, you could place this update messages within a hidden / restricted forum and give only specific groups access to it.

Another idea: If you add the users that you want to recieve this update news to your friends list (activate this option in "Users & Groups / User Settings"), you can send a private message to all the members in your friends-list by selecting "friends" as recipient when writing a new pm (usergroup drop-down list).
