skin problem

hello I used the Happy Thanksgiving skin . I put it on this morning & it has huge white screen around the whole skin & the main part of the skin is just centered in the middle. I'm using the theme , punkPhunk and there's a problem with the smiley box. To view the smilies I need to scroll right across the box and then they're just in a big column instead of a regular table. Is there anyway of changing this? Here is a screenshot.

There's some glitch with the system I think, but I keep trying to register for a forum and it keeps telling me that my password has to be 4 characters long.
