1. Never provide your login ID

When you want to give (on a website, a forum, an email, via MSN, ICQ... in a word : everywhere) the URL address of your forum, a topic, a message, be sure that the part of the address which contains 'sid=582c4678011cbd97139689c8' is never indicated.

In rare cases, if a user clicks on a link that has this 'sid=582c4678011cbd97139689c8', he will be automatically logged into an account of a user, moderator or even administrator.

Example : I you use a proxy, and someone who uses the same proxy than you (in this case, your IP adddresses are the same) clicks on the link containing the 'sid=582c4678011cbd97139689c8', he will be logged in under your username. If you are administrator, he will then be able to destroy your forum without any problem.

Never use a public proxy server

For reasons related to the previous point, the use of a proxy is not advised. More, your pages wil load much faster if you disable your proxy.

3. Never keep or give your password

It's quite obvious... never give your password to someone who's asking you.
If you can't do anything, this support forum is made for this. And every problem can find its solution without giving your password.

When you use the "I forgot my password" feature, an email will be sent to you with a new password. Once logged in, go to your Profile and change it again to use a password you will maybe keep more easily (but, it must'nt be too simple either). If you don't change it, never keep the email in an online mailbox like Hotmail, Caramail, Gmail or Yahoo.

4. Log you out if you use a public computer

When you want to leave your forum while you use a public computer (in a cybercafe, at shcool, at a friend's home), always think to use the Log out button. in the same occasion, never use the browser's "Do you want this password to be kept" feature (Always answer "no")
