I went camping before It was hot as heck at night huge spiders all around we we had to keep the tent closed cause it was raining

You've never been camping? You have to go, it is a lot of fun. I used to go a lot when I was younger, 7-10 times a summer, now I only get out 2-3 times a summer. Where are you at? Where would you be camping at? I'm sure some places would be scarier than others.

teamwork? why dont u just do pranks no point in camping if your gonna be a team the point of camping is to do pranks

Hmmm. I agree with you Dr Jan Itor. But if the teachers catch us with any pranks then we are gonna have to go home. Well we might take itching powder to put in other peoples tents.

I love camping- been hundreds of times. We go camping where we can jump off the cliffs into the water- by a waterfall. So much fun! We've played pranks too- my friends dad brought a 5 gallon bucket with a hole in the bottom of it and a long rope that barley fit through it. He went out into the woods at night and one person held the bucket while he pulled it through the whole- it sounded exactly like a bear- lol- you should have heard the story's the other campers around us were telling the next day- it was so funny I also camp at the beach alot to go surfing Many stories to tell- but not much time or space Well worth it to go- Have fun.

I've been camping before. It's a lot of fun. You need to get out and do it. I went up a mountain. It was amazing.

I stillcamp sometimes, it is always an adventure, especialy withEnglish weather.
We like fell walking, so usually camp near the lakes or fells.
Have woken to find I am sleeping in several inches of wter more than once.
But the freedom is amazing to wake up just to the sound of birdsong and the leaves rustling, is wonderful

I love camping, I live in south yorkshire very near to a green belt, so i can just get my tent and pitch it whenever i want.

just a pity we dont get nicer weather in this country though

Camping is fun. I love Camping. I went camping for a weekend last year but forgot my bug spray, Pfft, woke up to 14 mosquito bites over night. Talk about ichy . Next time I will be better prepared.

I'll be going for a few days over the 4th of July, American Independence Day, and then go backpacking up and over a few different peaks for a week the following week. I love camping and I go whenever I get a chance. Backpacking is especially fun, because you can get back into places that most people don't see because they aren't willing to hike in.

I hate mosquito bites. Got loads of them when I went abroad.

Ok Ive just been camping and it was awful in the night! Four people had to sleep in one tent which is no bigger than an bed. The activites were good though. On the grass sleds I crashed with another girl whilst we were going down an steep hill (PM me if you want the full story about that). Then we done team challenges which was boring. Then abseiling which was very high and I got dizzy but I still gave it an go. Next up was zipwire which was extremely scary! Its the second biggest zipwire in England! I had to close my eyes because I was soooooooo high! Then we went to the outdoor heated swimming pool and it was so cold and there was an frog in the pool so my mate had to get the frog out. Then all the girls got the teacher and pushed him into the swimming pool even though he was wearing casual clothes! He came out soaking wet. Then all the girls who had no swimming costumes jumped into the water with their casual clothes on. It was extremely funny!
Overall I had a good day (except from the night! *cringe*)

Going to camp this weekend... well actually it's more a barbecue nearby small but pretty faraway lake, we have scheduled 2 days optimum. Just the one or other nice steak, sun and fire - you are missing a lot of fun!

Just hope the weather forecast is proved right and it doesn't rain before sunday evening... I don't want to delay it again.

Love to go camping here in South Australia....lots of places to go. Along a river bank, on a deserted beach or out in the middle of nowhere. Just have to watch out for snakes, scorpions and any other nasty little bighters.

I am going camping in California in about 2 weeks. I hope it is fun!
