Hey!

As you can see the update is finally out So here is the topic to share your thoughts : your favorite feature, are you happy? disappointed? You're free to talk about it!

I'll add also a poll so we can clearly see if we've done right with this update.

Its awesome, the best feature there is the auto group membership.

Definitely a yes, i am trying out the Google Analytics thing. I guess, it would be a great information tool for most of the forums.

Typlo has said it is planned this way, but he said if members request it then it will be set to 0.

I guess, its time for a suggestion.

I suppose I'm going to be the first one to say I'm quite dissapointed.
Forumotion knows it's awful when it comes to spam prevention and a thread was put up about havng a button to delete all a users' posts and it was very popular with yes'. I've been told from others it's a very easy button to code too. So, this just mens that Tayne & Oliver can continue spamming with my staff and I having to censor and split it all.
185 posts this morning, just for the record.

I like the new moderator panel but I can only see it in the ACP so how do mods use it?

Love it , it has actually gave me the urge to start up a new forum since I closed down JBC . I was a little disappointed that there was no delete all users posts via admin panel though.

I wish there was a possibility to turn of the ability to share topics because it is a security problem for the users of my forum.
The topics and posts are often personal and it's bad if somebody share the users topics.
I know they can copy and paste if they want to, but this make it easyer.
This is also the reason I don't use the blog...

They are really sweet! One of the best updates provided ever. Would love to see more updates that have been requested more like the changeable theme, abuse PM button so it logs IP in PM's and send's to a staff member.

way to go forumotion. although some of the new features are not benifiting to me and/or for my use, its still nice knowing others will find them useful,and that forumotion is continuing to be the best..I would like to see added in the near future, the ability to delete users post via the acp. After installing the template editing addons... I'm pretty satisfied... now to customize it a bit.

But i feel like something also very big is on our way... It seems almost its base is done.

i mean after the <!-- END switch_roll_dice --> part in posting_body template

It is already intended this way. Set the field to "0" and when someone new signs up to your forum, they will automaticly go in to that group. That's what I have done

Many of the updates are excellent features (in particular image resizing, quote nesting limitations, and IP address viewing restrictions), and they are extremely welcome.

I DO NOT WANT THIRD-PARTY CONTENT ON MY SITE WITHOUT A WAY TO REMOVE IT!!!!

[b]I'm talking about the Addthis button and its associated javascript file. Yes, I can remove the button through CSS, but at that point the Addthis script has already run and done its damage by querying the user's system and putting the information in a Flash LSO. Addthis can do whatever they want, including hijacking the member from my board, because it's all third-party code.

I don't want anything like this on my board.

I realize that this button is an income generator for you, and it's why you added it. But PLEASE give us the ability to remove it completely, even if it means having to pay a small amount to remove it. Just like you have done with the Google ads.

I hoped that it was like that, but no .. I've that problem too and I want that really!

I would love to share any of my thoughts on the new updates, unfortunately the forum is gone! so any updates I am unable to comment on.

Forum is still gone and another forum is in it's place, and the forum was not deleted by said creator, it just went! disappeared when something such as servers were changed :|

So most disappoint, they are a pretty easy forum to create and style to ones personal likes, I just wish the forum missing would be placed back as it was not deleted by anyone!

dotDavid, there will be another update coming next week with several big things, especually if you look at the template coding
Personally, I'm looking forward to some of these
