As a sign that ForumActif is doing well, you can notice that the GoogleAds are not on by default on non-french forums.
Because if you think the international ForumActif community is big, it's nothing compared to the French ForumActif community

For your second question;
ForuMotion is par of a company indeed. It's composed of two different staffs;

Why do most of the staff on the English support forum have English as there second language?

Well, that's a curious question indeed...
Allow me to explain:
Caihlem: english nationailty, speeks french
Typlo: french nationality, speaks english
The Godfather: french nationality, speaks english
Skittles: americain (guess that counts as eglish speaking)
Luky: Romanian nationality, speaks english
Travis Cooper: Americain (another one )
Eximma: French nationality, speaks english
Jalokim: Polish nationaliy, speaks english
Maxime: French nationality, speaks english
As for }{e-man, I do not know

I'd just say it's a circumstancry turn up in events. When a staff member is chose (excpet for Admin & Techie) as long as their english level is fluent, we don' give a damn if it's their first, second or tenth language

I guess lot's of staff-members have english as a second language is because forumotion was a french idea. what means, most of the users speak mainly french, than comes of course english because luckily they're also forced to learn english.
And than the whole world comes together here to quarrel around and uses english, because english is lingua franca #1. (Mmh, makes me wonder if there is a german help-board, never checked...)

But I want to go to some interesting things which were posted but never answered.
So, are we allowed to advertise on our site and earn money with it? Or do we have to pay a bit of our earnings to forumotion because they own the server?
And the other thing was if it's possible to buy the whole site you have. That means, that you buy or rent a part of the forumtion server to do whatever you like with your site and make it completly what you want.

It would be nice if that finally got answered.

Kilsek, I don't have this problem. Maybe your resolution is too small. The banner is quite big, I admit.

Well, I guess if I want to buy my forum once I directly contact forumotion^^ Giving a call is most times the best idea.
I don't even use german on my board as board language too cruely translated.

hmm i didn't know how or what to ask here,but there is some issue keep hanging on my mind since i use forumotion.. i mean, even if this is most open-source & maybe most good free forum provider i ever met, but why there is so many vital function that doesnt included on this package?

im sure there is many people here used forumotion because its let us to build our forum as we want & not stricked by so many limitation. but that why should it comes with so few important forum function also

what i mean here is before using forumotion, im using small and yet not really well-know free forum provider, which they cant even allow me touch CSS setting. but instead of that, they provide us with complete forum function such as shop, post without count etc.. etc..

so, what my real question here is did forumotion really got problem to develop this function or maybe its will never been publish because it will makes forumotion almost like as an paid hosting etc..

sorry for this open minded question but i can not keep it

ps : on second thought, i think if forumotion really didn't allowed to provide us with that vital function for free, why dont just include it on payed method? i mean even if it have to be payed, im sure there is still many people here will buy that for sure

yes, good question. Why does forumotion not have so many things that all the other forum hosters have? Another good question. Is The Godfather a hidden user, is there a mod/admin only section that only mod/admins can see and is that where the godfather posts so much. Because he is not posting in the regular members section.

God Father is a admin active at french forum. You can check it. I think that beside being admin he is technician. You can read this in the Forumotion Team Section.

God Father is technician and not need to give answer. There work is solve bugs and create new function. let you remind that God Father was very active till the forumotion team got built nicely. You can check it. Now, i think God Father has taken a rest from English forum but he visits many time to check any bugs or anything else. But he is very active in french forum and french community of forumotion is more bigger then english community.

Did you mean unless there are warez or porn things then they just delete it because name is only illegal. But if there are copyrighted images or content then what! Do you give some time period to admin. (I got a report abuse message in my admin panel. The report was that i was using some forumotion team rank graphics which are copyrighted. I deleted that suddenly in 30 seconds). Will you provide a chance to remove such images or will remove the forum whole.

ahhh, but it keeps adding to his post count. Is there a hidden section for mods and admins?
