Wah, my page has N/A, no page rank as all. Those mofos! I added my site long time ago at google and it's linked with several other sites (like lot's of myspaces, mypsace is good ad) and I get quite good results if I search at google. I hate this site more and more

I think the reason is you are not using google webmaster. If you use it you will get PR

And it doesn't matter about where your page shows up when you search Google- it has only to do with links- affiliates- they are considered "Votes" for your site- the more backlinks you have- the higher your page ranking- or in other words- how important Google "Thinks" your page is. I have a PR of 3- but when you Google my page as PSP 4m- I am the first one- and the 2nd one too

PSP 4m and others similar to this are not keywords. Keyword is a word usually people search.

Suppose your forum is about hockey. then you should be top when people search hockey forum.

If you forum name is PSP 4m then it is not good to be happy while search PSP 4m.

I'm happy with it It's not searchable just by PSP 4m, but also by PSP. It's done me good- since I've only been up for 4 months and have 847 users. And a page rank of 3 out of 10 isn't bad either. If I can be found on Google easy- then that's a good thing. I tell people all the time- "Just Google PSP 4m and the forum will pop up" Not a prob in my opinion I'm happy

I have 4 sites ( only one is a forum) I put them in and and they each came out as 1/10, so I put in youtube which is massive and that came in at 9/10, so I would think the higher the number the better the rating, I obviously just creep in at the bottom of the top ten, being 1/10

Not necessarily. It all depends on those sites popularity also. It kinda sucks in that way since it's kinda like...how to explain...- oh- I know- kinda like in school- who you hang around makes what everyone else thinks of you..like sterotyping.

If your link is on a site like say- Playstation.com, and from playstation.com people are clicking your link so many times a day- then your rank will go up. But if it's on some little forum that your link only gets 1 or 2 hits- then your rank will stay down. Know what I mean? Kinda hard to explain. I got my info from it off of Google

I get your meaning Data,
I am not really too bothered, about ranks or ratings, for my forum, as it is for the local comunity. They find it easily if they google it, the forum is always first on the google page one.
That is the only important thing to us, we are not at all competative.

- Good- I'm glad you guys got it I'm not competative with mine either- I just made it because I was tired of everybody on one game forum asking for help and nobody really helping- they would just cut them down and tell them to "Google it" So I made my own forum. If I see people looking for help and not getting it- I will refer them to mine.
