Aero-Vista version 1.1.0 ?

Lastnight my forum theme changed on its own .. Nothing I did made it change, I tried to restore it but it failed, It kept giving me a theme with a green background.

I'm pretty sure that the theme I originally had was Aero-Vista version 1.1.0, before the V1 appeared. It had the same style buttons as V1 except the forum lock button was a round red circle, The pm, email,www buttons were like little wallets. The glacier template background looks very similar to it but the forum design itself is very different.

Can anybody help me.. does anybody recognise the theme/style that im describing? and if you do where i can get it from?

I am thinking it has to do with the cookie situation with Hitskin as it does this every now and then for me at least. Go into your Display Tab and go to change your theme back to aero vista by clicking the thumbnail then click the install skin text link in that inline preview of the Aero Vista skin and follow it through that inline preview box to click yes again to set it.

The thing is .. yes I can do this, but the theme it is installing is not the one I used to have. It looks like an updated version, Aero-Vista version 1.1.0 V1.

Some of the buttons (most) have changed .. and it just isn't the same look as i had and my members loved. ..

I'm assuming here that the version I had was Aero-Vista version 1.1.0 ? and not the V1 version, Unless someone can tell me differently from the description I gave in my first post.

Did you try doing what I just told you to do yet?

This was done lastnight Brandon .. I installed Aero-Vista version 1.1.0 V1, Which is the only version of Aero Vista on Hitskin. My site at the moment is using this theme and image set. If I do as you are asking, All i'm doing is re-installing what I already have!

... It is not the one im looking for! Im assuming that this version is an updated version of what i used to have, I want to try and install the old version which is no longer available on hitskin .. Does anybody know where I can get it from ?

Because you need to know the history before you can reply here.
True I used to have aero vista 1.0 ... but seeing as a new update came out I made the aero vista 1,1,0 ...

But hitsin has new security measures and i wasn't able to upload the new aero vista whilst the old one was online... I asked typlo to delete the old aero vista so the new one (without any bugs) could be installed.


So currently only the aero vista 1,1,0 is available... but I think i still have a manual install...

just download the link, I think thats the fixed version so you don't have to follow the steps that are mentioned after my post.

Oh I was trying to help you out with the different skin you were getting. As many people I am sure get the same problem if not installing a skin properly.
