Calendar Reminders

I have been asked by users of my forum if it is possible to add reminders to the calendar so they get reminders of events they have replied to. Is this possible?

Yes!
Go to your calendar=>Click the picture
=>Add your event=>Send
It will also post a message in your forum.

Thats not what I mean I mean if a user signs up for an event is there anyway for them to get a reminder sent?
