Can't get rid of Adverts.

Ok have been in touch with the forum owner after i was instructed only he could remove the Ads via Misc>config well neither him or myself can get rid of them.

Could we have some help please? Shit

Since this post deals with advertisments on the forums I would like to add my question as well dealing with the advertisments.

Ads by Google have been installed on my forum. I purchased points to remove the ads from my forum. I validated the program but the ads remain.

How do I remove these ads? They are not relivant to my forum, it is a Chrisitan forum and we are getting ads that promote things we do not agree with.

My forum is www.thewell.forumotion.com for the moderator to take a peek to see what I am referring to.

I am no mod (because Caihlem is scared to make me one) but I took a look at your forum and here is what you need to do:

Go to:

Admin panel
General
Points Managment

Find: Current Situation

Click NO to ads are disabled, this should get rid of the ads. If you bought points to rid the ads, PM Caihlem and let him know that you did not knowing that you could have removed the ads for free, he will attempt to get your points back.

To remove the ads go to admin panel=>Misc=>Points management=>Configuration. There look for this option "Ads are disabled. If you wish to contribute, you can activate theme by yourself thanks to this option." and choose No then click on Validate.

Thank you ! THey are gone now...

What I did wrong was I was thinking that clicking YES was validating it...

I needed to click NO...It worked YAY! No more ads!!!
