changing the color of censored words in posts

Post by Red Rose Exile on July 5th 2009, 5:40 am

I was wondering if there was any way that I could code the word censor to change the font color to that of the moderators color, so that users know that their post had been altered by the word censor?

Add this to the replacement

Code:
 [color=YOUR COLOR]Your font here[/color]

Just as long as the replacemnt isn't too long, that usually works. I tried it on my forum, works like a charm.

Thanks for the reply

How long is too long. That didn't work for me I'm afraid

Please could you mark this as resolved. by using html rather than BBcode, I have managed to sort it
