Cursor disappearing in topic text box

Hi, First of all I have searched round the forums and cant seem to find anything about this.

The problem I have is that I have just updated the skin on my site to this one

Now I find that if I attempt to create a new post my cursor blends in with the background colour and have no idea where I am in the box.
Is there a way in which to change the cursor colour so that it shows up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in this, its doing my head in

I found a similar post and it said something like this for a solution but it didnt work

Go to:

Admin Panel> Display>
Below PICTURES AND COLORS (click COLORS)
where you can manage the following:

Colors and Text Size
Background Color
table Header
Scrolling Bar Color

I bleieve it is a skin defect, try using a different skin
