HELP: Sidebar

I have followed this instruction(s):

but still i cant seem to make my side bar work, is it because i have modified the looks of my forum?

i wanted to make a sidebar just like the one im seeing here in this site.

yes i followed this step but still it doesnt show anything. Just my plain forum.

Did you drag and drop the widgets, to either side of the forum test panel? Scroll to the bottom, and you will see 3 panels, scroll down a little more and you will see the widgets available to you, click and drag whichever widget you want and add them to the tri's side panel, if there is nothing in the side panels then nothing will show...

i put it on the right side and now its working its my css which is making it comlicated.. thanks for the help. i have modified my css now and its showing..

Probably two scripts in the html, like this:

<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left"><img src="URL OF IMAGE" width="100" height="100" /></marquee>

Change the "direction" parameter to get the effect he did.

i just applied basic html tag.. and done some more scripts to make my site easy to navigate and look kewl. Sometimes basic tags is really helpful..

Wow - I just tried your forum to see this marquee again and it locked my system up tight as a drum. Had to end the firefox process to get it back! I would hate to try and connect to that forum with dial-up

yeah i think its because of the marquee property which slows down your connection, cause i tried it on a slow connection it makes the connection even slower.. and the images were actually big and force to be small with a tag.. got it? so maybe that explains why..
