Homepage message modification

Post by Blixa on August 7th 2008, 1:38 am

I have a pretty normal forum and don't want to make a homepage out of it, but the I'd like to use the Homepage message feature. Basicly, as it should, the text I write inside the Homepage message (Display->Homepage->Generalities) appears in a box under my Forum-logo, but how can I make it to appear differently towards a special "Usergroup"?
The forum is a Clan-board and I plan on making a News-Section about Clan-Events out of the Homepage message, but it shouldn't be visible/preferable show something different for Guest/Registred User who are not in the group "Clan Members".

Is this possible? If yes, how?

Also, I made under Create a personalized profile a warning-bar, but how can I make this bar to only appear if it's not at zero (basicly make the bar only appear of the user has at least one "warning-point")?

The homepage message cannot be restricted to specific groups. You'd have to create a forum and set it's read/view-permissions appropriately.

The bar in a userprofile will always appear, regardless of it's value.
