[IPB CSS] Round Corners

Post by Guest on November 21st 2008, 1:26 pm

As the title depicts, I'm currently using the Invision version and would like to know how to place a round corner in the CSS, please.

To be more precise, I would like my table headers to have rounded corners. I think I'm pretty sure where to place the code, just don't know what the code is. Thanks.

Well i'm not 100% sure ... but I don't think this is possible... but I'd need to check the page layout of a IPB board to be sure.
If the corners are not preloaded as in phpbb3 then its gonna be really hard to place them... just like you can't have corners in phpbb2.

but if you know your way around the CSS... then make your width a fixed size and then you can make the ideal image width with rounded edges

Ah.. ok. I'm still working my way around CSS, but it's not overly difficult.. just time-consuming when trying to figure out what everything actually goes to.

Do you think that making a top border or side borders that have rounded corners and entering the images in as background images where the color codes are would do it?

I don't quite know what you mean... but 1 thing is for sure. using borders will never give you a rounded effect.
the borders are placed around the forumbar... while corner images overlay the image.

I use a fixed width on premium styles... I also use rounded edges for my forum... take a look

Hmm.. I see. (Btw, the site looks very clean and nice.) Looks like the border color itself should match the table/bodyline background color in order to hide the square corners then. If there's a way to work around the non-round corner issue, I'm hoping this will be it. If you can find anything that'll work, please let me know. (Either here or pm is fine.) Thanks, Jalo. Smile
