Re: Scrolling announcement
Problem solved for me.. Thanks tech guys! Great job as always!!
Browser makes no difference with the issue. Nevertheless, it has been resolved.
Don't worry just use another browser not explorer

Hello,
joelj1964, are you sure that it is solved? I just clicked your link and noticed that the announcement is still messed up.

I can only tell you that I have checked it with both FireFox and IE and do not see a problem anymore.
Re: Scrolling announcement
The problem has not been resolve; not for some sites . My site (phpbb3) announcements consist solely of images and is fine. For the longest their had been a gap between the image, even though it was set for no space between images. as of yesterday this space no longer appeared and today there's issues with everyone else. I am "site sitting" for the clanserv site and its text announcement is currently disarrayed .
update:
seems via firefox it is showing improperly . i just checked via comcast chrome and it was fine.
doesn't appear to be a forumotion problem.

Re: Scrolling announcement
Same problem here. It scrolls properly in IE but not Firefox, however firefox wasn't updated at all. It was literally working fine this morning then suddenly went weird.
If mine is not fixed, any tips or suggestions on how to fix it?

Re: Scrolling announcement
I had the problem on my site as well with Firefox. The scrolling announcement looked fine in IE 8.
After taking a look at the source code, I saw it was using CSS to do the scrolling. So I did a hard refresh Ctrl + F5 so that it will reload the style sheet as well. And that fixed it for me.

Re: Scrolling announcement
This has happened to me, as well. It just started this morning, because the announcement was fine last night when I logged off to go to bed. It's doing it in Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer, so it's not just Firefox. Doing a hard refresh did absolutely nothing.
I had saved the current skin on my computer as a backup, because I'm planning massive Forum changes tomorrow. I had to re-upload that in order to solve the problem. Hopefully that solves the problem permanently.

Re: Scrolling announcement
Same here. It started again and a hard refresh didn't work this time. However, I do have my current skin saved, so I restored that and it did work as well.
Any idea what the problem is? Will this happen again?

Re: Scrolling announcement
I have had zero problems since opening my forum. This morning my scrolling announcements are messed up. Only way I could find to resolve issue was to deactivate announcements. Hope this issue gets resolved.

Re: Scrolling announcement
I think there *might* be something wrong with the Forumotion servers or something. This is the first problem like this I've ever had. I've had other problems that I caused and fixed, but nothing like this. I know now that I'm going to be creating an archive of my Forum's templates every day now. I'll create a folder for it and export the template every day, just to be on the safe side.
b0013, try exporting your skin in your ACP --> Display --> Themes Management --> Export the whole style. Then try importing it again. I'm not sure, but maybe that'll work.
