Information: Disabling Facebook connect Module + Facebook "Like" Button + Paypal.

October 9th 2015, 10:00 am by The Godfather

Hello,

For information, since yesterday, the Facebook connect module and Facebook "Like" Button seems to have some problems. Indeed, in addition to the slow loading, they are causing a temporary deformation of the forum pages (Whenever a topic loads it stretches the page for a split second). This problem is not on Forumotion side but comes from Facebook. For a unknown reason, the facebook like / login buttons are stretching the pages by 1000 pixels!

Therefore, and in order to avoid any inconvenience on our forums, we have temporarily disabled the Facebook connect and Facebook like Button from forumotion forums.

And as a problem never comes alone, PayPal also plays tricks! Since last night, Paypal has restricted the accounts that we use to accept credits purchase on your forums! We don't have for the moment any more information about the reason for the deactivation or its duration. Nevertheless, we are in close contact with the PayPal team in order to find a Sultan to this problem as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Paypal is disabled on our forums since this morning. The credits purchase can only be done via AlloPass, Hipay or Skrill.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding :rose:

Best regards
