How do I remove the chatbox? I appreciate any help.

It's the echo chatbox, I believe I added it after reading instructions here. However, I no longer want it, so how do I remove it? I looked for the topic about the chatbox, but couldn't find it. Maybe I didn't look hard enough...

Located on most members profiles. Under "Liger Profile," the RPG Profile option.

If so you can try and locate it in Admin Panel>>Users & Groups Tab>>Under Users>>Profiles>>Click on anyone to see if its there if so go back to Profiles>>and find it click on the Red X to delete>>Save

Still nothing. I can't get anything to work, can anybody help? I'd REALLY appreciate it. This topic has been up for a really long time and it's important to remove this, since it won't let me add anything without removing the box.

BTW, we are still faced with the same problem, question is not solved for those wondering...

I am unsure of why this is happening, however can you try to reinstall some other skin & check if it works?

Still nothing. Can't delete it. I tried changing the style, and once I did that, was rewarded with an error on the forum... which was fixed by changing it to a previous style (a previous date).

But the original problem still remains. How to get rid of this Echo Chatbox?

Yup. I believe I tried that first.

What happened then, did it take the chatbox off from the profile?

No, as I said, I may have done this first. So it didn't work out, since the problem still remains. Turning off the RPG widget, of course removes the chatbox, but it removes the entire profile as well. That's not the goal. I want the RPG Profile, just not the chatbox on it, and, as shown in the snapshots, it will not be removed. That is what we're trying to resolve.


It doesn't show the whole panel, but there's no "X" for deletion next to the box.

Eh... what do you mean? Remove the widget from the RPG Fields Management category? If so, there's no delete option, that's the problem. It won't let you delete it.

If i join your forum, can you let me have admin access because its difficult to really understand the situation.

No problem. I talked it over with another admin, and we both agreed that it'd be fine. Just so long as this isn't a permanent arrangement, since we have a set process for becoming an admin and such.

Yes, if thats not a big ask for you. Because there seems to be a code there which makes that chatbox appear. Did you ever make any other field other than these 4?

Fields removed. And no, I haven't. The echo chatbox field still remains, as there is no "X" available for deletion.

I just looked at one on my forums and I did add the same thing as you and I am going to remove it. I will provide the information when I find out. Just hold on.

When I disabled the RPG System it doesn't show up. Have you tried that?

Doesn't show up in the admin panel as well?
