This is happening to my forum as well and appears to be an intermittent problem as I had two member sign up around the same time and only one of the two received the 'user does not exist' message when they clicked the link to activate their account. -All appears to be well on Admin end as far as having the board open, new users allowed etc. This member also appears in the forum as the newest registered member.

Can they still login and post at this point? Thank you in advance.

The members registration date is April 4th 2008- the one who got the 'user does not exist' message. Hope this helps.

I just registered as a new member on my forum (today), using a different email etc. as if I were a completely new member and everything went fine. I received the email to verify the registration and the link this time was without error. I was also able to login under the "new user" account and all was well also Question
