I'v received notification of a new user joining my forum and followed the link. Sure enough, they have a profile set up and everything looks fine. However, at the bottom of the home page it still says the last user to join is the one previous to this one. I have tried refreshing the page and this makes no difference. Any ideas?

look at administration panel >user admin>>maybe you have set to no the question ''allow new members ''

No, that wasn't the problem... They had joined and it had been permitted. As I said, their profile was there to view. If fact, they had even posted! It was just the strip at the bottom that hadn't updated. Strangely, it has now. It took about 4 hours to though...

It says 'user does not exsist'

yes...i have a new user but when i click the link..it says "user does not exist" and according to the member list..the latest one is actually the 2nd latest one.

I've had about a half dozen new members registered today on my forum, each time I have clicked the link to activate them and everytime when i go to look at their profile it comes back "user does not exist"

The only thing I can add to this is that as soon as the user does a post, they appear! But that still doesn't solve the original problem, especially if you need to set the user to a particular group for permissions...

Please someone, help with this problem for us all!

whats the hold up here? why haven't mods answered this? usually they're all over these posts please help! and glad to know im not the only one with this problem i've had 4 new members register but says they don't exist bounce

Yeah, Please help. I have 3 new users on my forum, but they cant log in/post or do anything.

Names are not even on the Usernames in admin control.

Well, don't really know where could be a problem here, and if it is even one.

- Have the new accounts being activated already, not only registered? Users can't post etc... unless they are activated by their confirmation email or by the admin.

- Once activated how long did you wait for the name to appear on the list? it probably needs some time first.

in Germany due to this problem no subscription to any forum is possible in the moment.
This should be the same here in the English forums.

Everything has been done cerrectly on mine. They have been activated.

my users have been activated through the email i receive notifying me of a new user waiting for activation when i click it to activate them it says "user doesn't exist" so obviously there IS a problem i just dunno what to do about it??? Question

I've activated 4 the same today and they still haven't shown up on my members - this was from before 2pm today

yeah, the # of members does not go up, and they are not on the list, but they get the email confirmation! I just cant even find them anywhere...carazay!!!!!

Im refusing to actually activate another member until this is solved ... otherwise they might vanish again .. and never come back!

Hopefully they will get it fixed soon. Or atleast let us know whats going on and give us an update.

New user just registered, he logged on and used his account, then logged off. Now, when you try to log in as his user name, it says you have entered an invalid username or password. When I log in as administrator, and click on the user name at the bottom of the page, it says 'user does not exist'.
What's going on??
