Contact?

You know the Contact thing, from the bottom bars, if it's activated?
Well someone sent me an e-mail with it but if i reply to it then the reply is sent to myself on my e-mail.
Please help me bwi

Hello.
Maybe if you deactivate it and then activate it and then ask the member to try again it could possibly work. Possibly just a small bug.

ok, check the "reply-to" address.
That can be the problem, especually if the address is ur address.

When you receive the email, in the message headers theres stuff like below



In the "To" line, is the "reply to" address, if its the same as the "From" one, it will come right back to you.

The address need to be different.

What e-mail system is that? If it's hotmail then it won't work for me, i have yahoo.

Yes, that is hotmail, i wiped out my address for privacy reasons.

Yahoo is generally the same, i do use yahoo myself.

well it's up to you ware you want the return address to go? you can have your email or just the link leading to your site. we have ours with the forums creation email and for mods and admins to receive in the pm.plus in the email sig we have the link leading to the forum. i removed the email. but the sig address is the same as the link in my Avie.

Well it said which user sent it when i got the e-mail, and when i just went to "reply" it sent it to myself?
