Don't know how to fix this.

Here's a copy of a post on my forum, made with spaces, some BB codes, e.t.c.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

It started when our forum switched to PunBB, if that helps any.

The code it comes out as...it gets to hard to edit.

I really don't see what your problem is here. The code is just not wrapped, since there are no line breaks. Doesn't matter - it is interpreted the same way in HTML.

If it's difficult to edit, it's because you're probably not opening it ina pure ascii text editor - which will provide the line breaks.

Can you tell me how to do that??

The funny thing is it's telling me I'm using BBcCode...which I'm obviously not.

It's a bit hard to edit pictures and thing in my forum, and that's why it's a problem.

Also, I upgraded my firefox around the time this started happening...could this be the reason?

is definitely UBBC. HTML uses "<></>" tags to open and close code. That UBBC is not proper, either. Not sure what you're trying to do there with the "I" thing, but the code is not closed with the "[/quote]" tag for one thing. You cannot combine UBBC and HTML.

When I posted that here (and only here), it came out like that.

I really just needed to know how to change the codes that come up on my forum.

I know I am the only person, though, with this problem.

Basically, I want to switch to HTML from UBBC...how?

Depends on where you want to use it - UBBC will not always work in some areas of a board. It was designed to enhance TEXT - not execute functions, although it is capable of that. But mostly it's use is confined to messages - not the basic code of a site.

For example, the

Code:: [quote][/quote]

tags will not work as a replacement for html - that is a message tag to quote a previous statement.

Where do you want this message to be seen? If it's from your portal or an addition to the registration page - you have to use HTML. You can style the html with CSS if you want a particular look beyond basic HTML. So ... where do you want it?

I want it in my forum and portal, and admin panel. LOL!

Everywhere is shows up differently to start as, even if I type in HTML. When I go back to edit it, it shows UBBC.
