Forum Security - Blocking all non-users

Hey there,

I was wondering if its possible to make the entire forum secure from non-members. So that any random person viewing the forum would not be able to read any of the topics within the site without first being approved by admins.

Just in case there is sensitive info that is meant to be kept between members only.

This is the same as moderation approval or hiding the whole forum from guests?

Don't allow guests to see any of the forums.
Admin Panel > General >Forums and Categories.
Click on the permissions icon next to each forum you would like to modify the permissions on, and there you can uncheck guests abilities to post / reply a message, literally everything.

Just as an example, so if you came to my site, you wouldn't be able to see any of the posts. Just to keep it private to members only.

yea it's easy to do.
it's exactly what Sanket has said, just have the permissions for the boards for members only. and if you have staff boards be sure to have them set for only staff to see.
