Gallery size?

Post by SeekerOfD on December 14th 2008, 2:26 am

Is there a way to increase our gallery size?

Right now we have around 52 pictures and no matter what i do, its always rescrited in the size.

What can i do or do i just have to clear the old pictures once in awhile?

Your gallery's limit is 10Mb. If you 52 pictures are together 10Mb, than your gallery is full.

But you can buy more space for it. You find that at
Admin Panel -> Misc

You pay for it monthly, so make sure you really need it and you can pay for that regulary.

I don't know what is in your gallery. But you can also make a forum for pictures. Users can upload photos and pictures to your servimg.com account you got automatically with your forum. That one is unlimited. It's the button with the picture and disk.

I don't get what you mean in the last paragraph.

I just meant, that you should think about the pictures in your gallery. If you really need them in there.

So, if you want to make a forum for your pictures, simply add a new forum to your board. And there members can open a topic for a picture genre.
There you click on to upload photos.

The whole site would be a Board^^

Hey, you could even write a gallery on your own using photobucket, servimg or whatever host and add it to a html page. But well, I don't know how this would be coded^^

Edit: I also don't think that this would be against the forumotion's idea. I think you only pay for more size because otherwise the server would get too full. Pictures are that what takes the most space in a website.
