Even if a blitz of corrections has been done in the English language files lately, there might be still some errors left. That's why I seek your help in order to finish these corrections.
To report an error
- Post the word or the sentence where you see an error
- Give the correction you suggest
- Give the location of this error (ex : In the admin panel > Modules > Portal Structure > "Adding of existing modules") It is advised to provide a screenshot of this. If you don't know how to take a screenshot, look here
We ask you to not post an error report if the error is one of these followings :
- Having "Parcourir" when you upload a file/picture, and "Envoyer" when you use the founder's utils. In these two cases, this comes from your browser's language. So, if your browser is in French, these buttons will be in French. If your browser is in English, the buttons will be in English.
- Buttons (nav links or messages buttons) in French such as "Citer", "profil", "mp", etc. If they are in French, try to add _en before the .gif, or try to reinstall this styles in Styles > Choose your styles. If it doesn't work, this means the style isn't translated to English yet.
Thanks for your collaboration.

Thanks for helping
I'm in charge of the translation, well actually correcting what was already done
So if you find any errors I might of missed, it will be a pleasure correcting them!

Well, here's something that's a bit off.

You may want to change it to something like...
You are not registered, would you like to register?

Hello
One more error I found... It's not error, but it would be better if you switch places
Because you wrote it Right and Left. I think it will look much better if you switch places

Re: Help us : Spelling/Grammar/Structure Errors in ENGLISH
New errors I found while I was creating a forum on Mike's testboard for website design discussion (we are building a design for a friend).
Sort the topics by => Sort topics by
Topic's post's date (most recent in first) => Topic's posts' date (newest first)
Topic's post's date (most oldest in first) => Topic's posts' date (oldest first)
Topic's creation date (most recent in first) => Topic's creation date (newest first)
Topic's creation date (most oldest in first) => Topic's creation date (oldest first)
Number of views (the most consulted in first) => Number of views (most viewed first)
Number of views (the least consulted in first) => Number of views (least viewed first)
Number of answers (most popular in first) => Number of replies (most popular first)
Number of answers (least popular in first) => Number of replies (least popular first)
Post's date (most oldest in first) => Post's date (oldest first)
Post's date (most recent in first) => Post's date (newest first)
My explanation :
- "in first" sounds too French. We should say "first", not "in first" when we talk about an element we want it to have priority.
- "sort the topics by" : This is another common mistake in French people, putting "the" everywhere. In this context, "the" is not necessary.
- "most oldest" is a kind of repetition. When we say "oldest", we already say that nothing can be older than this thing, so saying "most oldest" is weird.
- "most recent" has more sense, but I say newest, just to be more in harmony with my correction for "most oldest".
- "answers" : In the context, "replies" is more appropriated.
- "most consulted/least consulted" : "consulted" is not very appropriated for the context, so I replaced it by "viewed".
That's all for now.

In addition to what Sunny_D posted in regards to the registration forum rules, there are a few grammar mistakes. I will type out each individual correction that needs to be made, but I will also post the entire corrected version at the end of this post to make it easier for whoever is going to correct this. So they can just copy and paste it.
In this sentence besides the line break that Sunny mentioned, the wording should be changed.

There is not supposed to be a space between the last letter in the last word of a sentence and the punctuation mark. Here are some that needs to have the space removed.

Re: Help us : Spelling/Grammar/Structure Errors in ENGLISH

I think you are "Logged in AS", now "WITH"... But I dunno, this phrase we have is just like I am logged with my friend...

I just think this makes the whole "Word Censores" Tab looks untidy... If "Word Censoring" and "Keyword Censoring" have C in "Censoring" as the capital letter, then why don't C in "Users censoring".... It's not a real grammar mistake, but it really makes look untidy.

I don't know if this is a right section, but the link under "Rescue Tools", is not working for me...
