How do I "[Solve]" topics?

How do I "[Solve]" topics?
I set my forum so that I could "[Solve]" a topic before, but it accidently got turned off, and I can't find where I turned it on. I set it so that you can click the "+" under your post and select, set post as Solved, but it isn't there anymore. Somewhere on the Admin Pannel you can change it, but I don't remember anymore, I looked everywhere but I can't find it.
Can anyone help me with this?
Edit: one more questions sorry...once I move a topic and I leave a shadow of the topic there, how do I get rid of the shadow?

Re: How do I "[Solve]" topics?
alright, I figured out the second question, I guess I just should've been more patient
. But I still can't figure out how to "Solve" a topic. I'm not trying to rush anyone, but I just wanted to say that you don't have to worry about answering the second question.
Re: How do I "[Solve]" topics?
I don't have a clue what your actually talking about. I've never heard of anything like this being available on Forumotion forums before and it doesn't sound like anyone else has either...
Could you give a more detailed description into what you mean by 'Solving' a topic please...
Also... Lydia, Mods and me alike don't like it when people post without purpose like you have in this thread. I recommend you don't unless you enjoy the Moderator's company (mind you Skittles and Luky are quite interesting people, but still...)

if your referring ot [solved] option here, you can enable this option on admin panel :
admin panel > user > user setting > Display button [solved] > yes

Re: How do I "[Solve]" topics?
ya, that's what I remember doing the first time, but I don't see it there anymore. That's why I'm confused...
And Simple Plan, when I say "Solve" a topic, I mean when you write a post you can click on the Options section, and it says "Modify topic’s title" then there's a box where the title name is, and then next to that is a button that says "Solved". It just shows everyone that the question that was asked in that topic was answered.

I didn't even know that option existed. When I [solve] topics here I just edit the original post and modify the title.

Re: How do I "[Solve]" topics?
ya, well you can do that in the created forums you make too.
And actually, I found the place to turn on the option for it now, and I turned it on, and I pressed the Solve button...and...nothing happens. The topic's title doesn't change in any way, I even just tried typing in the [solved] thing but that didn't work either...anyone know why?

Re: How do I "[Solve]" topics?
Hmm, as far as I know, the solved button uses javascript, so be sure you have allowed scripts in your browser settings.
