How to inform member after buying a new domain name ?
If I were to buy a domain name & change my forum name from http://ABC.forumotion.com to http://ABC.com, what is the best way to inform existing members? Besides sending email or make an annoucement in the existing forum, is there any way the member who visit the existing forum would redirect to the new forum?
To me, sending email & make an annoucement in the existing forum are not good options as those not frequently come to the forum might not notice it. Besides, I've more than 400 members, so sending email would be quite tedious.
Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance!

Hello
I think your members will be able to use the both adress if you buy a domain name. If you really want to inform them, you should send a newsletter.
All your members will recieve it. To send a newsletter, just follow the instructions below:

meaning to say my existing member would be able to access the forum via both new & old forum address. That would be good!
I thought if I were to buy a new domain name & they won't be able to access the old one via the old forum address. Thanks for your help!
