I need help

I have a spammer on my site. I run a madden site called madden-insane.com and the people who keep spaming my site is a another madden site called madden-school.com. I Ip banned the guy and all he does is make new IPs and come right back to spam again please help me.

ban the username and if that doesnt work just BLANK him bom

If the madden-school site is a forumotion i guess you can report it for continious spam..but othre than that just keep banning the Ip's sorry.

When you ban a member ban the ip address email address and the user name that way the user has to keep making new email address'es to get back in and make sure you have it so the user has to get an email before he /she can log in or set it so your the only one that can ok there accounts for a bit and then that should stop them for now

What...lol yea ok you know how much spamming b/s we go through here.
There's not a whole lot you can do accept continue to ban any members doing this.
I's all part of the game. it comes with the territory of running forums.It's been like this forever.

Now you can always report the persons ip addresses to your service provider.But unless they are threatening you in some harmful way i doubt they would do anything about it. as far as forumotion doing anything about it.What are they going to do. there spammers. it's the responsibility of the forums admin and staff to remove or take care of the situation on there forums.

just keep banning them ip email and all.Also have good staff.
You can even have it to where you have to activate any new members. so if you see a name that is familiar to another that has been spamming dont let them in.

Also Mrmario has found this place. put there info up here and check and see if they come up.This forum can probably tell you the best ways to prevent spammers.

but as far as forumotion doing something about it... lol we go through enough b/s keeping the spammers at bay here on this forum. so members are pretty much on there own to deal with any spammers on there forums. welcome to the club Shocked

I Really do not like comments like the last part you added in there.I know you where most likely kidding. and as much as we hate spammers we cant off them..
So please do not joke like that. No warning this time although i should..

You have been here long enough now to know that your titles have to be explicit and detailed pertaining to your problem.I NEED HELP.that can be anything. the reason titles need to be detailed is so members and staff can see what the problem is you are having without clicking on the post and reading what the problem is.When you have a brief deception it enables us all to know if we can help or not.I'm tired of telling people this all the time.One warning issued for not following the rules.
