Whenever I make a new category, shouldn't it be split from the others? I can't fix it... Help! It looks like one big category.

But your problem is is that your using the wrong plus button your suppose to use the one at the top.

i cannot veiw anything without registering and i don't want to register. please get a picture or make it so guest can veiw it then i can further help you. But i know what your asking its in Administration Panel -> General -> Configuration -> Hierarchy.
