New Topics ?? But it those not desplay the Icons

Well I always check the forums it says there is a New topic inside the section I click in the section and there is no new topics well there is but the got the same ICONS as the not new and they just stop working they always worked

When I enter in the forum it's simple that apears that are some sections of with new posts,when I get in that section,we see another topics which those have the real new info

Well,I got in today and showed new posts in Off Topic,for example,and when I got in,none of the topics were marked "New posts" in the picture
Someone can explain or see a way to fix that?

Did you make sure that the icons are not switched some how?

yes I did and they always worked.Till now I dont know whats going on

When the users post, that time also you can't see the new icons?

well users post and it shows he icon outside in the sections then went i go inside the section to the topics the icon the represents NEW TOPIC is not there

but ones you click in the section to see the new topics they are all normal old icons

Hmm, i see. First of all go into categories & forums & resync the forums one by one for all of the forums. We will do that, n then see what happens.

Had you done it for all the forums, because it has not had any effect.

Why not change the skin & see if the problem persists.

On hitskin, i saw a preview & the off topic forum had new posts so i opened it & saw.

I tryed lots of things I cant change the skin because it took my like 2 month doing it will be a waste of time

You can save the skin in your admin panel.

Admin Panel>>Display>>Temporary themes>>Create Temporary Theme>>Choose the one you have>>Save

Then change the skin and if it doesn't work then go back to Temporary theme and choose the old one.

if i do this can other people use it as well??

No its saved for you only. If you upload it to Hitskin then everyone can use it.

Hai Down...by default, if you transformed to other skin, your theme will be using the default new skin that you choose. Are you using phpbb3? I have this problem before and what I do was converting from phpbb3 to punbb and likewise. ( But don't try this if you are not an advance user ).

I had shown you that another skin on hitskin it was working.

no it looks like its working the first five minutes but then it start to not work again

hey this is happening to me too and i just re-synced everything but still there are posts that i know i haven't read yet and they are showing as old.

Same here.

I honestly love my forum, so much that I purchased a domain name and paid to disable ads for it, but a lot of members on my forum complain about how they are unable to see the icon for new topics after they click on any links.
