[Only-Topic] chatbox bug after the update

uesr list background colour as gone and the messages background colour as gone crazy too

it worked for my forum. even tho the old chatbox worked as well. hmm, maybe my forum is magical lol.

maybe try loggin out of your account then loggin in??

this is a bug i clean my cookie and loging in and out

What verison have you got your forum on??? could have something to do with thats

as this bug been reported to the techs?

Same thing is happening for me, and it's not only my site, it's on every forumotion site i go on.

I use phpBB2 because, there are some failure with phpbb3...

the backgrund you see in Online list is one of the bug I just said in my message.

so why did Typlo said the Chat it's fixed, when it's not fixed!! then the fixed only gave more failure!!!

The bottom row of text is unreadable in internet explorer.

bottom row text isn't visible, it flashes/keeps refreshing and a black default text is not good for a darker color backround. Also the bottom reply bar ect has all flipped to the other side. the old chat did lag a little but that was easily fixed by having a chat mod use the /cls code most of the time. I do like that I have logged out of the chat a few times and yet its holding my color when I return and I don't have to re add it but other than that, I like the old chat.

It's a bug caused by the newest update/patch.

I miss my old chat, everyone on my site is complaining because they don't like the new one, please return our old chats. *Looks around hopefully*

I have done all i can to get my chat box lined up and it had my back ground picture in it. Makes every thing wacky. Is it being worked on? been this way for about 4 days now.

For a temporary fix for the chatbox.
To fix the black text in firefox:
Tools/options/Content/Fonts and Colors/text untick use system colors then click on the black square and change it to blue or white, click ok click ok Job done

To fix the black text in Internet explorer click tools (or open in control panel) click internet options/ bottom of box click colors/ untick use windows colors/ text click on black box /change to blue only (important)/ click on ok/ click on apply/ click on ok Job done.

Try to be a little less sarcastic, and a bit more helpful, I don't see anythin wrong with non-staff members offering advice to be helpful ( as long as it's helpful of course ), and his advice was logical, it's a good idea to focus this bug into a single thread, instead of scattered around a hundred different threads, regardless of who was the first person to post about it.

Another bug seems that anyone who posts in chat after a mod gets a @ sign in thier post

Well I chose a topic on random and the only one i see getting winded up about nothing is you and couldbe.

yes we are getting that too!! the @ disappears then appears again randomly. the non chatbox mods get all excited because they think they have been 'modded' LOL!!! Chatbox driving us all nuts at the moment!!!

im havin probs with my chat box to so why cant the techs revert to the old chat box till this update is sorted. Im really getting hacked of that problems are not getting sorted

Any update on the chat box bug? Mine is still the same.
