You will need to contact Typlo privately and also give him proof that you are the owner of the first site mentioned.

Like if you go to the forum utils, you need authentication, so giving him your email and password is proof. Otherwise, just ask him.

I don't understand you. But as i said, it is forumotion's policy of not transferring credits from one forum to another.

So as simple as that you can use 800 on your new forum & 500 on perlagotchi.com. If you are short of credits to buy a domain, you need to buy the remaining credits.

Sanket, (I) as the winner of the Caihlem's theme contest, Typlo sent x amount of credits from Rok's forum to mine, so that's what perlagotchi is saying.

since these mods are not helping you, just buy a domain on your forum with the credits and buy a domain on it and setup a HTML page so it will say "where do you want to go??". (visit my site on my profile for an example)

Re: Credits Transfer Please

Post by Master Marc on October 13th 2009, 4:22 pm

Well well Mr. Mario,

There is no way of doing this automatically, but, since Typlo is working for forumotion, he can manually do this himself, Wink

But, it's his choice to do if he wishes,

Rok asked, and David got 1600 or more credits on his forum, from the last contest posted on forumotion's GD forum :

=> Preview

I believe it's not really fair to do this for only one person, tongue

But, you can purchase a domain for your forum using forumotion credits, and ask Typlo for a domain transfer code, for your new forum, Very good

( If am thinking of the right procedure of using the domain transfer code right... )

Also, this has been suggested before, Dawa

>> Transfer credits to other forumotion forums Via ACP

Well, at the start, I think you should have thought about it before buying a domain or credits.

Master Marc, i do agree with your comments and that it isn't quite fair. Although, your method seems incorrect. When you buy a domain name for one forum via FM in the admin panel, it gets assigned to that forum, so I can't see how a transfer code will do any good.

Well, It was just a shot in the dark, Wink ( As Krik would say )

I know forumotion doesn't give us full access to our domain names, so I guessed they didn't transfer domain hosts, so it was a wild guess,

[ Let's just leave it as a wild guess, tongue ]

It would be easier to create an account on the official french forum, and request for a transfer of credits to a new forum, because there are more forumotion workers on that side of forumotion, beu
