I tried to introduce my forum, but everytime i press post topic, it came up with this message

Sorry, but only users granted special access can post topics in this forum

I have posted almost 30 posts on this board, why can't i do this? Sorry but didn't know where else to post this

You can start off small,
Example:

1/ category: {The category your forum is in ~ In your case,it will be 'Sports & Hobbies'}

2/ title: {Name of your forum}

3/ Forum address: {Link to your forum}

4/ Language: {Language of your forum}

5/ The content of your message: {What's your forum about}


And then a global mod or an admin will accept it,or refuse it.And your post will be spilt from this topic,and it will be located in the Sports & Hobbies forum,and from there,you can post your news for your forum.

I understand that this section (Forum promotion) is for us to introduce our forums, in the right category (arts, society...etc) right ?

But there's that Topic "forum presentation proposal", i couldn't get it clearly Embarassed what is it about exactley? & what are we "accepted" or "refused" for ?

Before I introduce my forum I want to clear this doubt, just in case.

You see my boards are in two languages: English and Spanish, more or less half and half. I read I need to specify a language to introduce it and I know there are other language support areas, so i am confused... should I introduce it in a Spanish area AND here? or is it automatically rejected because it has not a dominant language?

I see that many users have connections between their forums and this forum. Then, they use their forum promotion topic to communicate, thus continuously bumping up their topic. Is that allowed? I don't see that as being fair as there are plenty of users that follow the guidelines, and every time they give an update, someone starts a conversation so it gets bumped up once more (even though the rules say no bumping unless separated by 24 hours).

The topic should only updates by the admin. If a user wants to talk use the PM. If you see users keep on posting just for the heck of it PM a staff member.
