Rules of this section


Here are the rules of the "Forum promotion" section. Please read them very carefully.

You can suggest your forum introduction in this topic: "Presentation Proposals" (Click on the "Post Reply" button).

It's useless to try and post anywhere else, you are not allowed to do so.

In this topic "Presentation Proposals", you are allowed to post only once to propose your forum.


You must include these following points in your introduction:


  1. Choice of the category: where your forum presentation will appear. You need to choose one of these categories

  2. Choice of a title: to introduce your forum (Example: FootBall Mania AND NOT My forum about Football!)

  3. Forum address: the address of your forum (http://..............)

  4. Main language: to help you to attract people who speak the same language. NOTICE: Only forums in English will be accepted.

  5. Forum description: aims to describe your forum, and its content, in a clear and precise way (Theme of the forum, its purpose, etc.). If you put screenshots, please use thumbnails, to avoid to enlarge the forum frames (If needed ,you can do that on ImageShack by using the link called "Forum Thumbnail")


If your presentation respects these 5 rules, a moderator will move your message in the chosen category, within a reasonable period of time (average of 48 hours). If your presentation doesn't respect one or more of the points mentioned above your presentation will be refused and the reason/reasons why it has been refused will be mentioned by the moderator.

Don't forget that the introduction you'll post about your forum, will also be the showcase of the forum you're presenting. Make sure that it is precise and that it gives desire for others to visit your forum and, eventually to register.

Once your presentation is posted, you mustn't post in the "Forum presentations" topic. If a major change occurs on your forum, you have the possibility to reply in your presentation topic to notify the modifications to everyone.

Exclamation Caution: Only extra messages containing the following subjects will be allowed (Only once per day) :


  • staff recruitment
  • major changes in the forum design (new themes, templates etc.)
  • new rules added
  • new forum or new category added
  • requests for partnership (only once and replies only by PM)
  • major news/changes on your forum (new contest, new domain name etc.)


It is FORBIDDEN :

  • to post more than once per day in your presentation topic
  • to post only to simply write "up"/"bump" or to say that you have X new members or to ask members to register on your forum, as well as to take a look or ask their advice
  • to make a presentation for a forum that has not been created on Forumotion
  • to post a presentation if you are not at least Administrator on that forum
  • to promote forums with sexual content
  • to promote forums that break Forumotion's Terms of Service


If you have any comments about a forum or if you want to reply to a request for staff recruitment, then send a PM to the author of that presentation.

REMINDER: Advertising by PM is forbidden!

Note : We recommend you use this kind of presentation instead of the normal one, a complete presentation is always better Wink
