Custom Modification Problem.

well as typlo has given the code for custom modifications of templete. i m having this odd problem.

i tried to do two modifications today, View User IP and Topic Descriptions.
I went to the location but the code mentioned by typlo for replacement were already been replaced.
it means the modification is already has been done. but still both i.e. View user IP and Topic description is not working yet on the forum.
so what to do now?

did you make sure you went back and published them after adding the codes and hitting save?

well as i said, i did not replaced the codes, they were already been replaced. and there was no sign of publishing them. they are saved

Ok so you are saying the codes in there are already the new ones that typlo has posted. but your features are not working?

Hmmm ???????? i would try to replace it anyway. just do it with one code first.
it might be a case of it just has to be republished?

so try it with one code. bu sure to go back and hit publish after saving and see if the one feature you try it for works then.

i have done that but it didnt work. i did topic description codes and after publishing i tried to create a topic but the page did not open for the new topic.
then i deleted those templetes and it was back normal.
