Wigets won't work theme/ changer widget header font color

my url is above the front page is my portal (copy and pasted html) so how do i make my portal page my homepage without having to copy and paste the html for it over and over and how do i get my wiges to work with my new theme (latest topics bar ect) as you can see they work on the portal page but the text at the top/header of each wiget is black and is my background so it is unreadable. how do i change that as well
