Hi,

As some of you may have read, we propose members who wish to provide us with Tutorials written by themselves for the FAQ of the Support Forum. This Only-Topic is here to that effect.
Members are invited to post their tutorials here where Staff Members can see and eventually comment on. We will try to the best of our time to read through all tutorials proposed and accept them if they are deemed worthy. We ask members restrain themselves from posting their opinions about the tutorials. If they wish to express themselves, they may either P.M Staff or the member who wrote the tutorial

For the tutorials sent, we ask you please use Screenshots as they help the reader in understanding. If you do not know how to take a screen shot, click here.
We advise you do not try re-write a pre-existing tutorial unless it is outdated. This is simply because in general accepted tutorials are of a good level and value and that it would be a waste of time to re-write them. If it doesn't need fixing then don't fix it, as the motto goes.
If you are updating an older tutorial, we ask you please mention and give credit to the author of the original work which you've updated. This is likewise if you want to add information to a pre-existing tutorial.

For means of ergonomics and simplicity, we advise members to use the form provided below for the synthax of tutorials. May it be noted however that tutorials proposed without the use of the form will not necessarily be penalised.

Luky, this is for the support forum's forum presentation. I thought that it needed some upgrade due to updates in the rules. Also, there wasn't anywhere which I could put it (which would be considered spam etc) and this is technically a tutorial so I am placing it here. It includes general updates (image, forums) but also includes the language and category.

Well, either way, I've done an update so we'll see if we can bypass the poll process and straightaway implement this (save time for mods to create etc).

But thanks for letting me know. Didn't realize it was there, 'cause of the "title not being clear".

Hello everybody!

First of all I would like to thank you all for the tutorials you have written so far. Both the ones that were accepted and also the ones that have been refused since I am sure you all gave your best. Indeed, there have been some very fine tutorials posted and presented in this topic.

Although it has big potential for creating new tutorials, we also need to think strongly of how many of them we truly need and how useful they really are for the other members.
After all, all the tutorials you write are for the other members to see and use but lately I have noticed that some of the tutorials are written for some pretty basic and simple options, options which most people already know how to use thus making those tutorials not very useful.

As a result I have decided to lock this topic. Of course, that if you have any tutorials you would like to share with the rest of the members you can sent a PM to me or any other staff member. It goes without saying that all tutorials proposed will be taken into consideration and that it's owner will receive full credit if published.

Thank you all again for volunteering your time and patience to help work on the forum with us.
