chatbox suggestions .

hello ,

if we click on a username it user name appears at on chatbox writing thing but my suggestion is if we click on it we should be able to private chat with him . i know there are PM but we get late reply from them and we should have groups channels and only admin should be able to add / delete group channels like if admin makes a channel in chatbox named gaming . then when we type /join #gaming it will come . please vote.

I definitely say yes. At the website where I moderate at (I told you about it in your poll about moderators being able to edit others in the Chat Box), all you had to do was click on the person's name and another tab appeared in the Chat Box. It'd be like "Shout Box", "Active Users", "(person you clicked on) [x]". They were lined up horizontally like that. I personally like the Active Users being on a different tab too, and not showing when you connect, but when you actually say something. So people could "lurk".

But back to the matter at hand, whenever you clicked on the tab that said "(person) [x]", it'd bring you to a Chat Box that was just you and the other person. Now if you were on the "Chat Box" tab, it'd still show you when you had a Private Message by having a [PM] to the left of the message. It was great.

And the "[x]" in "(person) [x]" was just so you could close that tab out.

I voted yes. Because even tho we have a Private message system you have to wait for the reply. Then again if that member is not on at the same time you are then whats the point just leave them a message.

It would be a good feature to add for talking to your mods with out the other members seeing.

Thats a good idea, I visited a forum that once had this feature, there was a main chatbox but you could open private ones. I like it:D
