Locking the edit option for posts

Sound like a cool idea?
Locking the edit option for posts
Lets say somebody says something bad or something and a staff member does not want them to change it back.
Here's an example.
Person: This forum sucks!!!!
Then the admin changes the post to...
Person: Post deleted by administrator
Or something like that. Then down below in the OPTIONS section it says all that stuff like Disable HTML and stuff
there should be another called
Lock Post
meaning locking the edit feature
I hope this suggestion goes through!

Re: Locking the edit option for posts
No I did that because I didn't actually want to put something bad such as bad words or bad videos/games...

Re: Locking the edit option for posts
Having a poll with options such as "oh yeah" and "yes" isn't really wise. That's the same choice with different wording.
By the way, I responded to your original topic on this matter.
Also, locking a single post seems kind of worthless. It's not like they couldn't just post the same thing again in a new post or a new thread.

I have read your posts in the other thread as well.
I don't see a reason for such a thing. Hence i vote No.
