Receive an alert when a profile message arrives

First topic message reminder :

Like with the pm system, I'd like an alert box to come up when I get a profile message,
who agree's?
(The same thing should be implimented to here at the support forum)

One should be able to moderate the messages he gets on the profile page. The alert is the closest thing to that. What if we get someone with the "brilliant" idea of posting commercials in people's profiles?

YES! and we should also be able to edit the messages instead of hide or delete, but thats different...

Why not have friend request being shown at your profile when you log in,and you click them to accept them,ect.Like on facebook...

Not on board with editing - I can't see the point - you don't do it with snail mail. Though I did get a copy sent back to me with edited spelling and grammar by an ex girlfriend

like this one but maybe use it like vb has it and have a bit added to the pm settings so u can have a email about it if you want to or just have some thing like this
