Receive an alert when a profile message arrives

First topic message reminder :

Like with the pm system, I'd like an alert box to come up when I get a profile message,
who agree's?
(The same thing should be implimented to here at the support forum)

Some other people call this a 'Notification'. Seen it on another forum I am on before. It's actually useful with the ammount of stuff they have on the forum. You get a notification in the top right corner when you receive a Friends Request, a Visitor Message or a PM, ect.. Voted yes by the way.

I agree with you and there are many suggestion on Friends request too here... so I voted for this as well...

it won't be like a PM because it isn't private, other people can view it.

I think it would be needed, Sorta have it like a Vbulletin forum. Have it say

"Your Notifications: (Number of Messages you haven't read) and/or (the number of requested friendships.)

That would be great.

I did kind of Hope this would be in the new updates but Nope its not maybe we should beg for it now lol

Anyway they made the VM like the V'boards and was a copy of it but this is the one thing they did not add in with it So come on guys please add this.
